Today has been a special day for us in Australia. It marks the first birthday any of us have been able to celebrate here, and a great chance to hang out with our old and new American friends.
Some great recent thoughts on Raleigh. He is very inventive and curious. Sarah and I lay in bed on Saturday morning and just laugh at the games he plays. He'll have an "epic" battle with sound effects, different voices, characters and stories.
He is also getting very good at putting thoughts together. The other day in the car he said "at school everyone celebrate Jesus everyday, but no one goes to church on Sunday to celebrate Jesus...that doesn't make sense!" I asked him what we should do and he said, "we need to go to church on Sunday and celebrate Jesus."
Raleigh loved Grandma and Grandpa Gardners gifts and had a hard time seeing the box for a few days without being able to open it. Raleigh is such a sweet, happy funny boy and he lights up our lives. We can't imaging not having him in our lives every day.
Here are some pics from the party.
